ADULTHOOD
Able Health Care will encourage all children to enter into our preparation for adulthood programme which encourages and promotes being self – sufficient and learning new skills. Staff support will be built into the programmes to insure the child feels supported and remains positive throughout.

PHILOSOPHY
We operate using the Secure Base Model of Care. The secure base model of care provides for individually tailored care and behaviour management programmes to meet the complex care, health, emotional and behavioural needs of each young person. The plans are created to enable young people to develop as individuals.

CHOICES
At Able Health Care we believe that our young people should have access to a wide range of activities, experiences and resources. All young people are offered an activity program designed to meet their individual needs and we actively encourage young people to be engaged in as much of the decision making as possible.

IPSWICH
Liberty Lodge is a 6 bed children’s home in an urban, multicultural location near the centre of Ipswich. We look after young people of any gender, between 9-17 years of age on referral or medium to long term therapeutic care.

WEST LODGE SCHOOL
A separately registered independent school that is attached to the Liberty Lodge home in Ipswich. This service allows us to provide personalised education and excellent care packages to the young people who are placed here.
